I don't really mind, but some people in the reviews got bothered by that. I kind of like the understated legs without shiny gold metal. Some legs don't reach the ground

As in the title, the middle support's legs don't quite reach the floor. The mid-body one does under some weight, and I'm pretty sure the foot one does also, but the one nearest the head of the bed seems to hover a half inch above my floor. It is not perfectly level flooring, but based on other reviews, this might just happen sometimes. Same story for the outer legs located mid-body. The four corners are firmly on the ground. I bet they made it this way to make sure those ones are the ones that bare the majority of the weight.

I do not think this problem affects the sturdiness of the bed. It doesn't creak or bend when I get on it and move around, and the headboard is sturdy enough for me, a 175 lb man, to lean back against. I would recommend making sure it's against the wall if you wanted to add another person - just so it doesn't have to load the fastening bolts over and over (possibly fatiguing the joints to the point of failure). I'm sure it would handle it fine, but since it does bend backwards a bit under my weight, a wall to support it would be a good move. Definitely not a wobbly headboard, though.

The bed was easy enough to assemble. Match the numbers together in the order shown and it is assembled. Includes all tools necessary. Styrofoam was wrapped in plastic so it doesn't break apart and get all over your house. Bad for environment, good for customer's patience.

The mattress does not slide around on the frame. The sticky strips used to accomplish this do a much better job than I thought they would. The whole frame slides before the mattress does. Do note that my bed is on hardwood floors.

Great bed! Style is simple and materials are high quality. The value for the price is excellent, and I don't see why I would need any more of a bed even after I eventually live with my significant other. This should last me well into the future and I would point any friend towards this bed if they were looking for something of this style.

Attractive and punches well above its weight class

This is a very pretty bed. The main value here is definitely the mid-century modern style and its reddish-walnuty look. This is the kind of design I would expect from the West Elm, CB2, etc. For the price, I think this is really hard to beat if you want the MCM, wooden headboard type of look.

Constructing this was easy and quick for one person. The instructions are slightly unconventional with its number sticker system, but still easy to follow. I felt the bed was engineered with user-friendliness in mind.

The parts were well-packed and clean. The styrofoam padding was wrapped in plastic to prevent styrofoam bits from getting everywhere. Comparable to how an IKEA product would be flat-packed.

I previously had a (similarly-priced) IKEA Malm, which was built like a particle board tank. In comparison, this bed is less sturdy, but still sturdy enough where I'm not worried about it in regular use. This is just not a bed I can freely shove around a room like the Malm.

I'm using the IKEA HAUGSVÄR mattress, and it's the perfect height for the tallest setting on the headboard. Very happy with the fit.

The main weakness of the bed is how the headboard is attached to the frame with 3 boards. There is some give/flexibility when pushing against headboard. To work around this, they give you 3 pads that you attach to the back of the headboard. Then you place the bed against a wall. This works just fine in my case, but more expensive beds will have the headboard fully extend down to the frame, much sturdier.

Overall, I'm happy with my purchase because I really like the look of the bed. This is a well-designed product from the packaging to the finish.

We previously had a very bulky and tall bed frame. It took up almost our entire bedroom and I was sick of having to jump onto our bed. We wanted a very simple, sleek & mid-mod style bed frame. This one is beautiful. Wood is great quality. It’s definitely made our room look larger. Some previous reviewers have had sloppy paint accent on the legs. I either got lucky or the company addressed the issues. Our legs had clean paint lines. If your floors are slick wood, I recommend a rug or grippers to place on the bottoms of the legs. The bed slides around easy. Super happy with my purchase!

This is a very good quality bed frame and headboard. It’s solid wood which is rare. The finish is beautiful. I like that you can adjust the height of the head board. The wood slats that hold your mattress in place are connected to each other so the slats won’t move. They then are further attached to the frame using Velcro tape. My last bed did not have this so the slats were forever moving all around the place. This bed frame is priced very well and to be honest had it cost more I still would have bought it. It’s definitely above five stars and I extremely recommend it.
